  The merits component of the hearing was to proceed on February 10, 2025, with continuance on February 11th & 12th, if needed. However, a request for adjournment was requested by Legal Counsel, this request was granted. With the granting of the adjournment the new dates for the Merits component of the matter will now be proceeding on the new date of April 14, 2025 at 9:00am (CST), with continuance on April 15th & 16th, 2025, if needed.

  While Ron Ochitwa carried out acts as indicated in this Statement of Allegations, he was acting as both a dealer and an advisor in Saskatchewan, but was neither registered as a dealer nor as an adviser. He was therefore in contravention of subsection 27(2)(a) and 27(2)(b) of the Act.
