Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP)

CAMVAP is a national arbitration program that provides a dispute resolution process for vehicle defects and warranty disputes between consumers and manufacturers that is fair, fast, friendly, free and final.

There are several requirements to qualify for CAMVAP’s assistance, including:

  • the vehicle is from the current or one of the four previous model years;
  • the vehicle weighs less than 10,000 pounds;
  • the vehicle has been driven less than 160,000 kilometers; and
  • the vehicle has been driven primarily for personal use.
