Multilateral Policy 31-202 Registration Requirement for Investment Fund Managers

Effective date: September 28, 2012.

This Policy applies in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut. It provides guidance for when organizations involved with investment funds may need to register, based on the kinds of activities they carry out and provides general guidance on how jurisdictions determine whether registration is required.
