Incidental Selling of Insurance Report

November, 2008 – On November 14, 2008, the Canadian Council of Insurance Regulators (CCIR) and Canadian Insurance Services Regulatory Organizations (CISRO) released their Incidental Selling of Insurance Report.  The Report follows last February’s consultation on incidental selling of insurance (ISI) and contains several recommendations for action by regulators and industry to deal with the identified issues of concern with this insurance product.
