May 14, 2015 - The securities regulatory authorities of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Québec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are adopting substantially harmonized registration and prospectus exemptions that allow start-up and early stage companies to raise capital in these jurisdictions, subject to certain conditions. The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority is, today, implementing the start-up exemptions by way of General Order 45-929 Start-up Crowdfunding Registration and Prospectus Exemptions (GO 45-929).
GO 45-929 replaces General Order 45-925 Saskatchewan Equity Crowdfunding Exemption.
