Securities – CSA Notice regarding Coordinated Blanket Order 13-933 Temporary exemption from the requirement to transmit a report of exempt distribution through SEDAR+ in connection with distributions of eligible foreign securities to permitted clients

July 20, 2023 – The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is publishing General Order 13-933 Temporary exemption from the requirement to transmit a report of exempt distribution through SEDAR+ in connection with distributions of eligible foreign securities to permitted clients (GO 13-933). Subject to terms and conditions outlined in GO 13-933, the order provides an exemption from the requirement to transmit Form 45-106F1 Report of Exempt Distribution (Report of Exempt Distribution) through SEDAR+ for a distribution of an “eligible foreign security” to a “permitted client”, as such terms are defined in the Report of Exempt Distribution. GO 13-933 comes into effect on July 21, 2023.

Securities – CSA Notice regarding Coordinated Blanket Order 13-932 Exemptions from certain filing requirements in connection with the launch of the System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval +

July 17, 2023 – The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is publishing CSA Notice regarding Coordinated Blanket Order 13-932 Exemptions from certain filing requirements in connection with the launch of the System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + (GO 13-932). It is expected that SEDAR+ will become available for filing at 7 a.m. Eastern time on July 25, 2023. GO 13-932 provides filers with an extension to file with, or deliver to, a securities regulatory authority or regulator documents that are required to be transmitted through SEDAR+ during the cutover period. GO 13-932 comes into effect on July 21, 2023 and revokes General Order 13-931 Exemptions from certain filing requirements in connection with the deferred launch of the System for Electronic Data Analysis and Retrieval + issued on June 8, 2023.

Securities – Amendments to General Order 11-906 Offering Memorandum Specification Order

July 11, 2023 – The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan is publishing amendments to General Order 11-906 Offering Memorandum Specification Order (GO 11-906). The purpose of the amendments to GO 11-906 is to remove the expired General Order 45-504 Offering Memorandum Prospectus Exemption (GO 45-504) from the list of regulatory instruments listed in GO 11-906. GO 45-504 expired on June 20, 2023, when The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments) (NI 45-106) Amendment Regulations, 2023 that addresses substantially the same subject matter as GO 45-504 came into force.
